GN will participate in ADIPEC 2026, the world’s largest energy exhibition and conference, from 2 to 5 November at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This year, GN will present an expanded portfolio that brings together solids control, separation and transfer equipment, specialty chemical solutions, and industrial robotics—demonstrating a broader capability to address complex operational challenges across the oil and gas industry.

Building on our established equipment expertise, this integrated offering connects the capabilities of GN Solids Control, GN New Chem and GN Smart Control. It enables customers to develop coordinated project packages in which equipment configuration, chemical treatment and robotic operations are designed around a common process objective.

For operators and service companies, the value lies in how these capabilities work together. Feed characteristics, treatment chemistry, material handling and separation performance all influence the effectiveness of an operating system. By considering these elements together, GN helps customers improve process coordination, simplify technical interfaces and identify practical opportunities to strengthen operational performance.
Integrated Tank Cleaning and Oil Sludge Treatment
Aged oil, tank-bottom sludge and deposits in oily lagoons can present significant challenges for cleaning, transfer and downstream treatment. GN combines robotic cleaning and sludge removal with pumping, chemical conditioning and separation technologies to support a coordinated treatment route.
Depending on the application, a project package can incorporate remotely operated robots, sludge transfer equipment, washing and conditioning systems, oil-water-solid separation, and subsequent water treatment. Chemicals are selected to support sludge mobilization, oil release, emulsion breaking and solids dewatering, while equipment is configured around the material characteristics and treatment objectives.
This approach connects front-end cleaning with downstream recovery and treatment, helping customers plan the complete operation rather than individual process stages.

Coordinated Drilling Fluid Packages
GN brings drilling fluid chemistry together with solids control systems and mud plant equipment to support the preparation, circulation, conditioning and recovery of drilling fluids.
Chemical programs can address rheology, filtration control, shale inhibition, lubrication and other formulation requirements. Integrated with mixing and separation equipment, these programs help customers align fluid properties with the capabilities of the surface system.
For drilling contractors and fluid service providers, GN offers a coordinated basis for developing application-specific drilling fluid packages, supported by laboratory evaluation, equipment selection and process optimization.
Integrated Drilling Waste Treatment
Effective drilling waste treatment requires close coordination between feed conditioning and mechanical separation. GN combines chemical treatment with solids control, separation and dewatering equipment to address drilling waste and spent drilling fluids.
Treatment routes are developed according to the fluid system, solids characteristics, recovery objectives and required outlet quality. By matching chemical selection with the separation process, GN supports more consistent material handling, useful fluid recovery and manageable downstream waste streams.
The result is a project-oriented approach that connects drilling operations with waste treatment requirements.
Oily Waste and Wastewater Treatment
Beyond drilling operations, GN’s combined capabilities support the treatment of oily wastewater, contaminated sludge and other process waste streams generated by oilfields, refineries and industrial facilities.
Chemical conditioning can be integrated with screening, centrifugal separation and dewatering to improve the suitability of the feed for subsequent treatment. Process design considers variations in oil content, suspended solids, water chemistry and operating conditions, allowing the solution to be adapted to the specific project.
GN’s objective is to help customers establish a practical treatment process with coordinated equipment and chemical requirements.

Independent Chemical Products and Technical Services
Alongside integrated project packages, GN New Chem provides independent chemical products and application support across four core product lines: drilling fluid chemicals, oil sludge treatment chemicals, oil and gas production chemicals, and wastewater treatment chemicals.
These products can support existing customer systems or form part of new treatment programs. Laboratory screening, compatibility evaluation and application testing help guide product selection and establish a sound basis for field implementation.
