GN Integrated Solutions

Integrated Wastewater Treatment Solutions

Wastewater performance depends on more than selecting a single chemical. Feed composition, oil and solids loading, pH, salinity, mixing conditions, retention time, and separation equipment all affect the final result. GN New Chem works with customers to develop practical wastewater treatment programs that combine specialty chemicals, process design, separation equipment from GN Solids Control, and field technical support.

Typical Customer Challenges

  • Unstable influent quality and fluctuating solids, oil, COD, color, or heavy-metal loading.
  • High chemical consumption without consistent clarification or discharge performance.
  • Poor sludge settling or dewatering, resulting in excessive sludge volume and disposal cost.
  • Existing equipment that is underperforming because chemical dosing, mixing, or process sequence is not optimized.

GN Integrated Solution Approach

Wastewater Treatment1

  • Representative sample review and laboratory jar testing to screen coagulants, flocculants, deoilers, decolorizing agents, heavy-metal removers, defoamers, and other treatment chemicals.
  • Process evaluation covering pretreatment, chemical conditioning, clarification or flotation, solid-liquid separation, biological treatment, filtration, and advanced polishing where required.
  • Selection or integration of screening, dissolved-air flotation, decanter centrifuge, sludge dewatering, filtration, and modular wastewater treatment equipment.
  • On-site commissioning, dosage optimization, operator guidance, and follow-up adjustment based on actual operating data.

Value to the Customer

  • More stable effluent quality and improved compliance reliability.
  • Higher solids and oil removal efficiency with better sludge dewaterability.
  • Lower chemical waste, reduced sludge volume, and better overall operating economics.
  • One coordinated technical route from testing and process design to equipment, chemicals, and field service.

Typical Applications

Oilfield wastewater, solids-control wastewater, refinery and petrochemical wastewater, industrial high-solids wastewater, oily wastewater, municipal and industrial sludge-liquid separation, and wastewater reuse projects.
