Meet GN at WETEX 2026 in Dubai: Integrated Equipment and Chemical Solutions

Organized annually by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, WETEX is one of the region’s leading exhibitions for water, energy, technology, environmental protection and sustainable development. The event brings together government authorities, project owners, engineering companies, technology providers, environmental service companies and industry professionals from around the world.

At WETEX 2026, GN Separation and GN New Chem, both subsidiaries of GN Solids Control, will jointly present GN’s integrated approach to industrial wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering, solid-liquid separation and environmental management.

Wetex Wastewater Treatment

Combining Equipment and Chemicals for Better Treatment Results

Successful wastewater and sludge treatment requires more than selecting a single machine or chemical product. Treatment performance depends on the characteristics of the incoming material, process conditions, chemical selection, dosing method, equipment configuration and operating parameters.

GN Separation contributes extensive experience in separation and environmental treatment equipment. Its solutions can include screening equipment, decanter centrifuges, sludge dewatering screw presses, chemical preparation and dosing systems, conveying equipment and complete treatment packages.

GN New Chem complements these capabilities with chemical research, laboratory evaluation, product selection and customized chemical programs. Its product portfolio covers flocculants, coagulants, defoamers, water clarifiers, decoloring agents, heavy-metal removal agents, odor-control agents, biocides and other specialty chemicals for industrial water and sludge treatment applications.

By working closely together, GN Separation and GN New Chem can evaluate both the mechanical and chemical aspects of a treatment process. This integrated approach enables GN to recommend an optimized combination of equipment, chemicals and operating parameters based on the customer’s actual wastewater or sludge characteristics.

The objective is to help customers achieve more stable clarification, improved solids capture, better sludge dewatering performance, reduced chemical consumption and more reliable long-term operation.

Wetex Oil Sludge Treatment

Solutions Developed Around Actual Operating Conditions

Every wastewater and oil sludge treatment project has different requirements. Feed concentration, particle size, oil content, salinity, pH, temperature, organic loading and disposal standards can all influence treatment performance.

GN’s technical team can review customer process information and material samples, conduct laboratory testing where required, evaluate suitable treatment chemicals and recommend an appropriate equipment configuration. The proposed solution may then be further optimized through chemical screening, dosing adjustments and operating-parameter evaluation.

This capability is particularly valuable for applications involving:

  • Industrial wastewater treatment
  • Mining wastewater and tailings treatment
  • Sludge thickening and dewatering
  • Oily wastewater and oil-sludge treatment
  • Produced-water clarification
  • High-solids wastewater treatment
  • Heavy-metal and color removal
  • Water reuse and resource-recovery projects

Instead of treating equipment and chemicals as separate products, GN aims to develop a coordinated process in which each element supports the overall treatment objective.

Supported by GN MENA in the Middle East

GN has continued to strengthen its regional presence through GN MENA, its subsidiary serving customers in the Middle East.

With local and regional support capabilities, GN MENA helps GN maintain closer communication with customers, respond more efficiently to project requirements and provide more convenient coordination for technical discussions, commercial services, project execution and after-sales support.

The cooperation among GN Separation, GN New Chem and GN MENA combines equipment manufacturing, chemical expertise, process understanding and regional service resources. This structure allows GN to support customers from initial technical evaluation and solution development through equipment supply, chemical selection, commissioning and ongoing process optimization.
