Overview
GN Z-FOAM is a high-performance silicone polyether composite defoamer specially developed for oilfield production, gathering and transportation, and refining applications. The product is designed based on a specially modified unsaturated polyether and low-hydrogen silicone oil grafting system. Through advanced silicone-polyether structure design and the incorporation of functional components such as natural oils and fatty acid esters, GN Z-FOAM delivers rapid foam knockdown, long-lasting foam suppression, low-dosage efficiency, and excellent compatibility with oilfield systems.
GN Z-FOAM can quickly destabilize foam structures in oil and gas systems, reduce the strength of foam liquid films, and accelerate gas-liquid separation. It effectively eliminates persistent foam generated during crude oil production, oil and gas gathering, crude oil treatment, refining, and delayed coking processes.
Compared with conventional defoamers, GN Z-FOAM offers fast action, low dosage, long-lasting antifoaming performance, non-corrosive properties, and minimal impact on downstream processes. It helps improve system treatment efficiency and supports stable operation of production and processing facilities.
With its specially engineered formulation, GN Z-FOAM is particularly suitable for gas-dominant fields, offshore production platforms, crude oil degassing, and oil-gas separation systems. It can also be widely used for foam control in refinery units, residue oil processing, delayed coking, and other petroleum processing operations.
